1. Butea Superba
Nobody knows about Butea Superba. Yet.
It’s a traditional Thai herb that has been used for centuries to supercharge male vitality.
Modern human research on Butea Superba is limited. But the few trials & case studies that exist show Butea Superba is nothing to ignore.
One case study showed that Butea Superba supercharged one man’s DHT levels to supraphysiological levels (about 1.5x more than the top of the reference range) (R)
It’s very cheap and definitely worth a shot. I’ve used Swanson in the past which works.
2. Tribulus Terrestris
Tribulus is one of my all-time favorite herbs.
I ignored it for so long as many think it’s just another scam. This is because it’s marketed as a testosterone booster but does not necessarily boost testosterone levels.
But what it does do is supercharge DHT levels.
One human study showed that Men who took 250mg Tribulus Terrestris (TT) daily had a significant decrease in the percentage of body fat and an increase in lean mass as well as an increase in DHT levels (R).
Tribulus (112mg protodioscin) daily (R increased DHT by 27% and lowered prolactin by almost 60%.
I am currently using 1000mg Tribulus (20% Protodioscin) from Nootropics Depot as I’m writing this post.
This means I’m getting 200mg from Tribulus per day, which should be enough to boost DHT 20-40%+ based on the human trials results with 112.5mg protodioscin (boosted DHT by an average of 27%.
3. Boron
Boron is androgenic AF.
It’s a trace mineral that increases free testosterone and free DHT. This is because it’s a potent inhibitor of sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG).
Here’s the part 99% of gurus miss: SHBG binds to DHT with about 5x the affinity of testosterone.
This means that lowering SHBG with boron is going to have a MUCH more potent effect on free DHT than on free testosterone. And the studies show it already has a potent effect on free testosterone.
I use 6mg of elemental boron from Nootropice Depot’s Boron Glycinate Nootropics Depot
Pro Tip: Tongkat Ali obliterates SHBG similar to boron. One human study showed that it reduced SHBG by 66%, ultimately leading to a 73% increase in free testosterone (R). Free DHT wasn’t measured, but I’d predict it increased significantly both due to the increase in testosterone as well as reduction in SHBG.
